April 11, 2017 the Brookhaven and DeKalb Chambers of Commerce co-hosted a member luncheon featuring Senator David Perdue as the keynote speaker. Alan Goodman, President of the Brookhaven Chamber welcomed the 260 plus guests and introduced Marine Tom Walsh who proudly led everyone in the Pledge of Allegiance.
The Senator was greeted by a standing ovation and applause. He began his speech by stating Georgia was rated the best place to do business. He went on to say: “Democrats and Republicans must work together to solve the complex healthcare issue moving forward. “ Other items he addressed included: the need to grow infrastructures to increase the work force and to increase the military.
DeKalb County CEO, Michael Thurmond, Brookhaven elected officials and other dignitaries also enjoyed the event. Special thanks to our sponsors: AT&T, Georgia Power and TSYS.
