Q. What does your business do or provide to the community?
Non-medical home care (companionship, meal prep, light housekeeping, transportation, assistance with dressing, bathing, grooming, toileting) for seniors to remain independently in their own homes. Our caregivers are older, active, compassionate adults.

Q. What inspired you to start your business or enter your field?
I have been serving the Buckhead/Brookhaven community for over 26 years, first as a pharmacist for Publix, and now as Owner and Operator of SHS Buckhead. I love working closely with the seniors in our community and helping seniors who need just a little help to be able to age in place. Making a positive difference in the lives of both our clients and our senior caregivers provides a great sense of satisfaction and purpose to my days.

Q. What is your favorite part about being a woman in business in Brookhaven and surrounding areas?
There are so many successful, inspirational women in our city and to be able to learn and grow alongside them is very motivating.
