Q. What does your business do or provide to the community?
For more than 45 years, Nuts ‘n Berries has been helping our neighbors discover that food can be medicine. Through organic groceries, local foods, clean supplements, and personalized wellness guidance, we make healthy living simple, welcoming, and accessible.

Q. What’s the most important thing you want people to know about your organization?
We’re more than a health food store—we’re a trusted resource. Our goal is to meet every customer where they are, provide honest education without judgment, and help people discover practical ways to live healthier through real food, quality supplements, and community.

Q. Tell us about one of your recent success stories
This past year we’ve continued expanding our carefully curated product selection while strengthening partnerships with local farmers, food artisans, and wellness brands. It’s been exciting to welcome many new customers to the store while continuing to earn the trust of families who have shopped with us for more than four decades.

Q. What makes your organization different from others like it?
At Nuts ‘n Berries, we believe education is just as important as the products we sell. Instead of simply pointing customers to a shelf, we take the time to understand their goals, answer questions, and help them find solutions that fit their lifestyle.

Q. How does your organization give back to the community?
Giving back is woven into everything we do. From supporting local producers and entrepreneurs to sharing wellness education and participating in community events, our goal is to help Brookhaven thrive—not just as a place to shop, but as a healthier, more connected community.

Q. Share one of your favorite Summer Vacations and why.
Personally visiting the Black Hills of South Dakota on a cross country camper trip was the highlight of my adult vacations. Seeing our country and visiting a place with such a rich history left me inspired! (Mari Geier)

Q. What do you like about being a Member of the Brookhaven Chamber?
We’re proud to be part of a network of local businesses that believe in collaboration over competition. The Brookhaven Chamber creates opportunities to build meaningful relationships, support one another, and strengthen the community we all serve.

Q. Have you been to any Chamber events? What has been your favorite and why?
Kevin regularly attends the morning networking sessions and enjoys the opportunity to get to know other local businesses.
